The Club is delighted to welcome Abraham Odoh as its first summer signing! Peterborough United are pleased to announce the signing of Harrogate Town winger Abraham Odoh for an unknown amount.

The 23-year-old signed a three-year contract with PE2 after completing the formalities at the idverde Training Ground. Odoh had 14 goal contributions in Sky Bet League Two this season, helping Harrogate finish 13th in the table.

The winger began his career in non-league before joining Charlton Athletic. He played two seasons with Rochdale before joining Harrogate in July 2023.

Posh manager Darren Ferguson was overjoyed to complete the transaction and is excited to work with him. “We’ve been following him for a long, and he’s been one of the most consistent performers at his level. He has great development potential, and we believe he is the best player to replace Ephron Mason-Clark.”

Odoh is looking forward to his new task and cannot wait to get started. “It all occurred very quickly, but when I heard of the interest, it was certainly something that I wanted to get done because it is a step up for me and at a club that is constantly contending at the high end of the season.

“When I chatted with the manager, he explained what he wants and how he sees me fitting in, and I’m excited to get started. “I enjoy playing football with a positive attitude and aiming for success in the final third.”I enjoyed my time at Harrogate; it was a good environment to play football, and I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates and getting started here.

Ephron Mason-Clark is someone I know well, but so are Kwame Poku and Romoney Crichlow. It will be wonderful to see a few familiar faces on my first day here! I am quite excited about this transfer.

The transaction will be finalized when the transfer window opens in mid-June.
