Diana has been a Director of the Board since 2010, and Vice President since 2019, combining her love of Geelong with her enthusiasm for football.

Diana was not only Vice President of our Club, but also chair of our Club’s Corporate Governance Committee, a member of the AFLW Competition Committee, and chair of AFL Victoria’s leading club diversity program, the Fair Game – Respect Matters Program, in partnership with VicHealth.

Diana, a long-serving Director, has demonstrated a strong love and devotion to our Club and its members, and she was a key member of the Board while GMHBA Stadium was completed and membership levels reached new heights.

Geelong Club President Craig Drummond expressed gratitude for Diana’s participation. “Diana has contributed significant time to our Club over the last 14 years, providing knowledge to the Board that has helped shape the Club’s direction and assure its long-term success.

“Diana’s impact has been felt across our programs, particularly her leadership in AFLW and VFLW, where her commitment to providing opportunities for women and girls is clear.

“On behalf of my fellow directors, Kate Betts, Barry Fagg, Grant McCabe, Lyndsay Sharp, Kate Spargo and James Sutherland, and chief executive Steve Hocking, we thank Diana for all she has contributed to the football club and the broader Geelong community.”

The Club congratulates Diana on her many years of service to the Geelong Football Club and wishes her and her family all the best in the future.
