Peterborough United have signed a replacement for Ephron Mason-Clark, their star winger. Abraham Odoh, a left-sided attacker, moved from League Two club Harrogate Town for an unknown price this week.
The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract, with Posh acting quickly to replace Coventry City’s Mason-Clark. Posh manager Darren Ferguson stated, “Abraham is a player we’ve been watching for a while, and he’s been one of the most consistent players at his level.”
He has great development potential, and we believe he is the best player to replace Ephron Mason-Clark.”
He continued: “When I spoke to the manager, he outlined what he wants and how he sees me fitting in and I can’t wait to get started.
“I enjoy playing football with a positive attitude and attempting to create opportunities in the final third.
“I enjoyed my time at Harrogate; it was a good environment to play football, and I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates and getting started here. I know Kwame Poku and Romoney Crichlow, so it’ll be nice to see some familiar people on my first day!
“I am very excited about this transfer. This club is constantly competing for the top of the division, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.” Odoh contributed 14 goals in League Two last season, scoring ten.
He began his career in non-league football with Edgware Town and Tooting & Mitcham before joining Charlton Athletic. He played two seasons with Rochdale before joining Harrogate in July 2023.
