Beastie Boys’ Announce Epic Return with 2025 Tour, A New Chapter in Their Legacy.

In a shocking and exhilarating turn of events, Mike D (Michael Diamond) and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz) of the iconic Beastie Boys have announced their highly anticipated return to the stage with a massive 2025 world tour. After years of reflection and focusing on individual projects, the two legendary members have decided to honor their legacy in a way that fans never expected. The tour, dubbed *Alive Again*, marks their first major tour since the passing of bandmate Adam “MCA” Yauch in 2012.

The duo, while maintaining their commitment to preserving Yauch’s memory, has decided to embark on this tour as a way of celebrating not only the life of their late friend but also the impact the Beastie Boys have had on music and culture. The tour is set to kick off in their hometown of New York City at Madison Square Garden on June 10, 2025, before heading to major cities across the world, including Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, and Sydney.

“We’ve spent years thinking about how to honor the Beastie Boys’ legacy without MCA, and this tour felt like the right way to do it,” said Mike D in a statement. “This isn’t about trying to recreate the past but about celebrating everything we’ve built together and the impact MCA has had on us and the world.”

Ad-Rock echoed those sentiments, adding, “We never thought we’d tour again, but as time has passed, we realized how much the music means to us and the fans. This tour is for MCA, for the fans, and for all the incredible moments we’ve shared.”

While fans can expect plenty of nostalgia with performances of Beastie Boys classics like “Sabotage,” “Intergalactic,” and “No Sleep Till Brooklyn,” the duo has hinted at the possibility of new music and collaborations as part of this next chapter. The tour will feature a cutting-edge stage design with visual tributes to MCA and immersive experiences that highlight the trio’s lasting cultural influence.

Tickets for the *Alive Again* tour will go on sale in December 2024, with pre-sale opportunities for long-time fans. Given the excitement surrounding their return, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

As the Beastie Boys prepare to hit the road once more, the music world is buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a celebration of their legendary career and a tribute to their brotherhood that changed music forever.
