Kelsey Plum Insists A’ja Wilson is the Undisputed WNBA MVP, No Contest

Kelsey Plum insists that if A’ja Wilson isn’t the unanimous choice for the WNBA MVP, something must be seriously amiss. In a feature by SB Nation’s Noa Dalzell, Plum strongly backed her Las Vegas Aces teammate’s bid for a third MVP award. “If she’s not the unanimous MVP, I have conspiracy theories,” Plum remarked, emphasizing her belief. She acknowledged that while other players are having great seasons, none are on Wilson’s level. “I mean, I really will [have conspiracy theories], you know? I don’t even know who else you put in the conversation,” she added.

Wilson has been a standout force for the Aces this season, leading the league in points (26.9), blocks (2.6), and ranking second in rebounds (11.9) per game. She’s also broken the single-season points record for a Las Vegas team determined to secure its third straight championship. While players like Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark, New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu, and Connecticut Sun’s Alyssa Thomas are all performing impressively, Plum feels Wilson should be the undisputed MVP. If not, Plum will have serious doubts.
