Dorking Wanderers Strengthen Squad with New Signings
To
Dorking Wanderers have bolstered their squad with two key additions as they prepare for their return to National League South. The club has welcomed goalkeeper Harrison Foulkes and defender Brennan Camp.
Harrison Foulkes joins from Eastbourne Borough, where he had an impressive season with 25 appearances and seven clean sheets. He was particularly influential in the final stretch, starting the last 12 games and helping the team avoid relegation. Manager Marc White praised Foulkes, saying, “Harrison was probably one of the best keepers in the National League South last year, a massive prospect. He had a whole range of clubs talking to him from the National League and League Two, but we managed to beat them to his signature. He has a really amiable personality, very likeable, very professional.”
Defender Brennan Camp, a former Scotland U19 international, has signed from Eastleigh. Although he missed the entire last season due to an ACL injury in April 2023, Camp brings valuable experience, having played for clubs like Bournemouth, Portland United, Dorchester Town, and Weymouth. White commented on Camp’s signing, stating, “Brennan is someone we have played against for several years, he played against us at Weymouth in the National League South play-off semi-final. He’s a really highly regarded footballer, he can play as a central centre-half, right sided centre-half or the right side of a back three. He’s quick, has great aerial ability, he’s professional and at 23-years-old fits right into the profile of what we’re trying to achieve with the squad.”
These new signings follow the addition of left-wing back Jordan Norville-Williams, who joined from Farnborough at the end of April. As Dorking Wanderers gear up for the upcoming season, these strategic acquisitions are expected to enhance their competitiveness in National League South.
