Swindon Town has offered Nnamdi Ofoborh a new contract, as shown on its retained list.
Swindon Town have lodged fresh terms with the midfielder and forward Sean McGurk.
Ofoborh, 24, joined the League Two club on a short-term contract in March and is set to become a free agent at the end of next month.
The Robins have revealed on their official club website that they have offered him a contract extension in order to keep him on their roster for next season.
Swindon Town man offered
Keeping Ofoborh would be beneficial for Swindon Town this summer.
Since joining the Wiltshire club, he has made seven appearances, adding competition and depth to the middle of the park.
The Londoner attended Millwall’s academy before joining AFC Bournemouth as a teenager in 2016.
Ofoborh went on to make five appearances for the Cherries’ first team, as well as two loan spells in the Football League with Wycombe Wanderers to gain experience.
Rangers then attracted him to Scotland in 2021, but he did not feature for the first team at Ibrox and parted ways with the Glasgow giants in August of last year.
Swindon Town has given him a way back into the game, and he must now decide whether to stay at the County Ground or try his luck with another team.
The Robins have become one of the most recent teams to reveal their retained list.
Charlie Austin, Tomi Adeloye, Frazer Blake-Tracey, Conor Brann, Tom Brewitt, Tom Clayton, Reece Devine, Brooklyn Genesini, Rushian Hepuburn-Murphy, George McEachran, and Tyrese Shade were all discharged. Meanwhile, Dawson Devoy, Zach Elbouzedi, Harry McKirdy, and Conor McCarty returned to their parent clubs after their loan spells expired.
