Stray Kids have achieved a historic milestone by securing their sixth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with their latest release, “Hop.” The album debuted atop the chart, earning approximately 187,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
This accomplishment makes Stray Kids the first artist in the 69-year history of the Billboard 200 to have their first six chart entries debut at No. 1, a record that dates back to the chart’s inception in March 1956.
With this achievement, Stray Kids join the ranks of groups like BTS, Linkin Park, and Dave Matthews Band, who have also secured multiple No. 1 entries on the Billboard 200 in the 2000s.
“Hop” is the latest addition to Stray Kids’ discography, following their previous chart-topping albums. The group’s consistent success on the Billboard 200 underscores their growing influence and popularity in the global music scene.
Stray Kids expressed their gratitude for the support from fans worldwide through their agency, JYP Entertainment, stating, “We’re honored to receive such immense love from fans around the world.”
