Peterborough United reveal details of their first confirmed pre-season friendly

Peterborough United will play a pre-season friendly against Spalding United, a local non-league club.

On Tuesday, July 16, at 7.45 p.m., the match will be played at the Sir Halley Stadium. Spalding won the Northern Premier Midlands Division previous season and will compete at step four in 2024-25.

Tickets will be available directly from Spalding United’s website in the coming weeks, as well as on the night, for £10 for adults, £5 for concessions (over 65s), £2 for 12-17-year-olds, and free admission for children under the age of 11.

The players will return for pre-season testing in late June, followed by a training camp in Spain in early July. Posh hopes to play a friendly while overseas.

Posh hopes to have completed their summer additions before they leave. They plan to recruit forwards Abraham Odoh and David Kamara from Harrogate Town and Welling United when the summer transfer window starts on June 14.
