Newly surfaced footage provides a glimpse into Liam Payne’s final moments before his tragic fall at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. The surveillance video reveals that Payne displayed erratic behavior in the hotel lobby, reportedly smashing a laptop before being escorted to his room by staff. Witness accounts suggest Payne appeared under the influence, and the hotel management called police due to concerns about his aggressive behavior.
According to reports, Payne had expressed his discomfort with being confined in his room and had previously used balconies as a means of escape. Tragically, he attempted to climb down from his third-floor balcony, leading to his fatal fall. When emergency responders arrived shortly after, Payne was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries that were “incompatible with life”.
Fans have been mourning outside the hotel, leaving candles, flowers, and photos in honor of the late singer. Payne had been in Argentina to attend a concert by former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan and shared a video shortly before his death, expressing his appreciation for the country and his plans to return home soon.
