Ndidi scores again as five-star Leicester City condemn Aribo’s Southampton to damning defeat
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi scored his second consecutive goal for Leicester City in their 5-0 bashing of Southampton at the King Power Stadium, Soccernet.ng reports.
It was a pivotal match for both teams as championship leaders Leicester City hosted rival contenders for promotion, Southampton, to the King Power Stadium.
Coach Enzo Maresca gave Super Eagles midfielder Ndidi a starting uniform once more after he scored for the Foxes in their 2-1 victory over West Brom over the weekend. But there was a subtle absence of Kelechi Iheanacho from the starting lineup. Conversely, Joe Aribo, who has been playing quite well lately, began for Southampton.
