Summer loan signing Sancho has not been seen since the club’s last league defeat against Liverpool in October. That was down to illness and he had also suffered a knock in training, but has provided a clue that he is due to return to training unhindered in the upcoming week.
Following on, both Gusto and Colwill pulled out of international duties on the eve of the November break with undisclosed injuries. It remains to be seen whether either will remain absent for the Leicester trip or if they are to provide longer-term headaches for their boss.
And lastly, summer signing Omari Kellyman continues in his absence with the hamstring injury he acquired before being able to make his Blues debut. The £19m teenager is set to remain out of action until at least late November, if not December on top of the two months he has already missed.
