Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, faces a lawsuit filed by former Yeezy employee Murphy Aficionado, who has raised multiple allegations against the rapper and his companies Yeezy LLC and Donda Academy. The lawsuit, which includes 12 complaints, alleges discriminatory and inappropriate behavior by West during Aficionado’s employment as a project manager, which lasted nine months from October 2022.
Aficionado claims he was wrongfully terminated and not compensated for his work. The complaint accuses West of antisemitic remarks and disparaging comments about Aficionado’s Filipino heritage, including criticizing his traditional tattoos. Additionally, Aficionado alleges that West engaged in highly inappropriate behavior, such as asking him to remain present while West engaged in sexual activities and exposing him to other inappropriate situations.
These accusations add to West’s ongoing controversies, which include claims of inappropriate workplace conduct and comments in other contexts. Aficionado seeks damages for the alleged discrimination, harassment, and retaliation he faced.
