Jose Mourinho, who used to manage Manchester United and Chelsea, was spotted in the stands watching Liverpool’s win against Fulham. Liverpool scored goals through Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ryan Gravenberch, and Diogo Jota, putting them level with Arsenal at the top of the league.
With only five games left in Jurgen Klopp’s time as manager, Liverpool is focused on winning the Premier League title after being knocked out of the FA Cup and Europa League. Mourinho’s presence has fans speculating about him possibly managing Liverpool next season.
After leaving Roma in January, Mourinho has been without a coaching job, leading to rumors of a Premier League return. Although linked with Newcastle, Mourinho hasn’t ruled out managing Liverpool.
Tony Barrett, from Liverpool’s communications team, revealed that Mourinho’s agent approached Liverpool before Rafael Benitez’s appointment, expressing Mourinho’s interest in managing the club. This happened while Gerard Houllier was still in charge, but no decisions had been made.
