Is there a possibility that Jayden Daniels, the current Heisman Trophy holder, might reconnect with Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce?
Throughout this offseason, it has been widely reported that there is mutual interest between Jayden Daniels, the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, and the Las Vegas Raiders.
During an appearance on SportsCenter on Saturday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler confirmed that Jayden Daniels is indeed interested in joining the Las Vegas Raiders, also known as the Silver and Black.
Fowler began by discussing the information he’s gathered regarding Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders, who currently possess the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Fowler expressed that there seems to be substantial speculation surrounding Jayden Daniels’ potential move, which is hard to ignore at this stage. He mentioned speaking with someone involved in Daniels’ decision-making process who openly questions whether Daniels is exploring his options. While Daniels has shown genuine interest in playing for the Raiders, particularly due to factors like staying on the West Coast and reuniting with Antonio Pierce from their Arizona State days, it may be challenging to facilitate a trade given that the Raiders currently hold the 13th pick.
