A 3rd edition of the now-infamous rivalry, it was Reese who engaged with Clark both verbally and physically throughout the first two games. Ticket prices for Sunday’s game are breaking WNBA records and even outpacing demand for the Chicago Bulls. The Fever have come out victorious in both meetings so far, including last week in a 91-83 home win. Clark finished with a near-triple double at 23/9/8, while Reese picked up yet another double-double as part of her incredible streak in June. That game was the most-watched WNBA product in 23 years. Clark’s superstardom is no novelty to basketball fans who witnessed her title-winning greatness on the college stage, but its effect on the pro landscape has been even more impressive. Unfortunately, the popularity hasn’t quite led to success: The Fever currently sit at 7-10 on the year.
