Following an impressive performance in Galatasaray’s 3-2 Europa League victory over Tottenham, where Osimhen scored twice, he clarified that he intends to stay with the Turkish club until his loan deal ends. While his loan includes a January exit clause for a fee of £66.6 million, Osimhen emphasized his happiness at Galatasaray and dismissed January transfer speculation.
The 25-year-old’s decision comes as a disappointment to Chelsea fans hoping he could be the answer to their goal-scoring struggles. Chelsea, lacking a consistent 20-goal striker, had previously shown interest in Osimhen, with support from former players like Eni Aluko who see him as a key target.
