Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark continues to enjoy her break amid the WNBA offseason. She recently attended a game of her beloved alma mater, Iowa, where she was caught passionately expressing her disagreement with a referee’s call. Before that, she made her LPGA pro-am debut when she competed at The ANNIKA in Florida. With her surplus of free time, the 22-year-old guard has also been pretty active on social media. One of her friends, former Iowa baseball player Izaya Oyo-Fullard, posted on Instagram a couple of photos with Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, and his brother, Patrick McCaffery. The elder McCaffery is now an assistant coach of Butler, where his brother plays. Oyo-Fullard captioned it with the famous call of NBA commentator Mike Breen of LeBron James’ legendary block on Andre Iguodala in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!” wrote Oyo-Fullard. Clark commented on the post with a one-word quip. “Hard,” said the WNBA Rookie of the Year. Connor McCaffery also reacted to Oyo-Fullard’s post. “Caption goes hard,” said the deputy tactician. Recently, Clark has been sending one-word remarks on her friends’ posts on social media, including golf star Nelly Korda, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones. Fans, meanwhile, are still waiting for Clark’s decision if she will suit up in the pioneer Unrivaled 3-on-3 league, which will start in January.
