Clark, expressed his frustration after the loss to Angel Reese
“Yeah, I mean, it sucks. It was a game that we felt like we could have won and we put ourselves in a position to win after three quarters,” Clark commented. “I even think we were up by 12 points with seven minutes to play in the game, if I’m not mistaken.”
Â
Clark stressed the importance of not getting caught up in the loss, but also emphasized that they can’t let something like that happen again. “You can’t dwell on it too much, but it can’t happen again. I think it’s one of those games where you go back and watch the tape and, if we find ourselves in a similar situation, we have to be able to continue to attack and be aggressive, but also play really good defense.
