Two weeks after Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever’s season ended, the WNBA Finals are set, featuring the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx, who knocked out the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night. Despite Indiana’s early playoff exit, Clark delivered one of the most remarkable rookie campaigns in WNBA history, consistently shattering records, including the most assists in a season, most points by a rookie, and becoming the first rookie with two triple-doubles.
Though now in the offseason, Clark continues making waves. Recently, she announced her participation in the Pro-am for the LPGA’s The Annika, presented by Gainbridge. On social media, fans noticed she updated her TikTok bio, humorously revealing her love for chocolate chip cookies—a fun nod to her playful personality. Clark had previously mentioned her sweet tooth during a press conference in May, endearing herself even more to her fan base.
Throughout her rookie season, Clark played and started all 40 games for Indiana, averaging 19.2 points (tying with Kelsey Mitchell for the team-high), 5.7 rebounds, and a league-best 8.4 assists per game. Her impressive contributions helped guide the Fever to their first postseason appearance since 2016.
Capping off a historic season, Clark narrowly missed becoming the unanimous Rookie of the Year and earned her first All-Star selection, playing a key role in Team WNBA’s victory over Team USA.
