Burnley FC has agreed to a new long-term partnership with Castore, starting before the 2024/25 season. Castore will serve as the official technical partner for the Premier League club, producing kits for their men’s, women’s, and youth academy teams.
Additionally, Castore will collaborate with Burnley’s staff to develop high-performance training apparel. Alan Pace, Burnley FC Chairman, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting shared values of innovation and excellence. The club has ended its previous kit deal with Umbro to join forces with Castore, citing Castore’s relentless pursuit of innovation as aligning with Burnley’s desire to innovate.
Marcus Mellor, Head of Commercial at Burnley, mentioned the club’s intention to expand its commercial opportunities, recognizing past shortcomings in leveraging data for commercial purposes. Castore aims to uplift both players and fans with precision sportswear, reflecting Burnley’s growth ambitions. Castore’s Chief Sports Marketing Officer, Sam Lucas, emphasized the company’s commitment to football and innovation. Since its establishment in 2015, Castore has sought to challenge established brands like Nike and Adidas, securing deals with clubs across Europe.
