BTS has reached an impressive milestone as their music video for “DNA” surpassed 1.6 billion views on YouTube, making it the group’s third video to reach this view count. “DNA” was released in September 2017 as the title track of their mini-album Love Yourself: Her and quickly became a global hit, showcasing vibrant visuals that align with the song’s upbeat and colorful vibe.
This achievement follows BTS’s other massive hits, “Dynamite” and “Boy With Luv,” which have each gathered over 1.8 billion views. “DNA” was also a groundbreaking track in BTS’s career, being the first K-pop song featured on Spotify’s Global Top 50 and further establishing their international impact.
Currently, five BTS members are fulfilling their mandatory military service, with Jin and J-Hope having already returned. The remaining members are expected to complete their service by June 2025, paving the way for a potential full-group reunion.
