London, November 16, 2024 — Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones have thrilled fans worldwide with the announcement of a major new project. The group revealed plans for a global tour in 2025, along with the release of their highly anticipated album, Eternal Groove, slated for March 2025.
The new album, recorded in studios across London, Los Angeles, and Paris, marks the band’s first collection of original songs since 2016’s Blue & Lonesome. Described by guitarist Keith Richards as “a celebration of everything we’ve lived through,” the album promises a mix of classic rock vibes and experimental sounds. Frontman Mick Jagger hinted that several tracks would feature surprise collaborations with younger artists, aiming to bridge the generational gap.
The tour, titled The Rolling Stones: Forever Young, is set to kick off in April 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, with stops in major cities across Europe, North America, and Asia. The band is expected to perform both iconic hits like Satisfaction and Paint It Black as well as tracks from their upcoming album.
Fans can expect a spectacular production, with state-of-the-art visuals and a tribute segment honoring late drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021. “We feel Charlie’s spirit in everything we do,” Richards said during the press conference.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale starting December 1, 2024, and the band has partnered with environmental organizations to ensure sustainable practices during the tour.
Stay tuned for more updates on the album and tour dates as The Rolling Stones prove, yet again, that rock ‘n’ roll is alive and well.
