Lexington, KY – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program has landed a major addition to its roster with the signing of standout guard Asia Boone. Boone, a 5-foot-9 guard, joins Kentucky after a highly successful stint at her previous institution, where she earned all-conference honors thanks to her elite scoring ability, defensive tenacity, and court vision. Known for her explosive first step and relentless energy on both ends of the floor, Boone was a cornerstone of her former team’s success, averaging 16.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.1 steals per game last season.
