Elyjah Freeman is visiting Tennessee basketball on Wednesday as a potential transfer forward, according to a source with direct knowledge.

Freeman was a standout freshman at Lincoln Memorial, a Division II school in Harrogate, Tennessee. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 18.8 points and 9.2 rebounds. He shot 46.7% on 3-pointers and 57.8% from the field.
He signed with Lincoln Memorial out of Wellington High School in Palm Beach, Florida.
Vols coach Rick Barnes and multiple assistant coaches visited Freeman last week prior to his visit to Auburn. He also visited Indiana.
Tennessee has signed two transfers in Maryland guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie and Vanderbilt forward Jaylen Carey.
The 6-1 Gillespie averaged 14.7 points and 4.8 assists for the Terrapins, who reached the Sweet 16. The Greeneville native shot 40.7% on 3-pointers, making 87. The 6-8, 265-pound Carey averaged 8.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in 33 games. He averaged 9.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in SEC play.
