A former Carlisle United striker scored three goals in 16 minutes for Finnish champions HJK Helsinki.
Luke Plange, 21, entered the 32-time Finnish champions’ match against championship rivals Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho on Friday, June 7, in the 71st minute, with the game tied 1-1.
The former Carlisle United loanee went on to score three goals in 16 minutes for his maiden senior hat-trick, giving HJK Helsinki a crucial win that puts them six points behind Veikkausliiga leaders Kuopion Palloseura.
Plange joined Carlisle United on loan from Premier League Crystal Palace in the first half of the 2023/24 season, when he scored twice in 22 appearances.
However, the teenage forward would return to his parent club before moving to Finland in March, where he will be on loan until January 2025.
