Braian Nahuel Paiz, an Argentinian waiter, admitted to knowing Payne and socializing with him, even sharing drugs on two occasions. However, Paiz vehemently denied supplying any substances to the singer. He explained that when Payne first met him, he was already under the influence of drugs. Paiz further clarified that they had met twice: once at the restaurant where he worked and later at the hotel where Payne tragically died after reportedly falling from his room.
