Brawley High School’s girls volleyball team clinched the CIF-San Diego Section Division 3 championship title, defeating Santana High School in a competitive 3-1 match (27-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22). Held at MiraCosta College, the game highlighted standout performances from Brawley’s players, including Breaunna Rebollar and freshman Lucca Rubin, who contributed crucial kills to secure their victory. Brawley’s head coach, Lindsay Rubin, praised her team’s resilience and determination, acknowledging Santana’s strong performance as well. Both teams will advance to the CIF SoCal Regional Tournament, with their seeding to be announced soon.
