Woking Football Club is delighted to announce the acquisition of Jacob Jones. The 22-year-old left wing-back joins from Scottish League One club Cove Rangers.
Jones, a Swansea City academy graduate, joined Forest Green Rovers in July 2022, where he worked alongside Michael Doyle, the club’s assistant manager.
After two appearances for Forest Green, he was loaned out to Bath City and King’s Lynn Town before joining Cove in the summer of 2023.
Jones made 26 appearances for Cove last season, and the former Wales U20 international joins the Cards hoping to make an impact in English football.
“I’m really excited to bring JJ to Woking,” stated Woking Manager Michael Doyle.
“I’ve worked with him previously at Forest Green. He is youthful, hungry, and full of energy. He will bring a lot to the team.” Jones is available for sponsorship during the 2024/25 season.
