World Boxing has announced an extensive calendar featuring over 20 tournaments for 2024 and early 2025, providing ample competition opportunities for both male and female boxers across various age and skill categories. These events span multiple countries and cater to boxers from U15 to Elite levels.
The upcoming events include the Ústà nad Labem Grand Prix in the Czech Republic (June 11-16, 2024) and the Gothenburg Box Open in Sweden (June 13-16, 2024), which will feature competitions for U15, U17, U19, and elite categories.
Simon Toulson, World Boxing General Secretary, emphasized the comprehensive nature of the calendar, designed to highlight the international competition opportunities available to member National Federations.
Additionally, the second World Qualification Tournament is currently taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, with over 600 registered boxers, and will conclude on June 2.
The Eindhoven Box Cup recently concluded with Brazil and Australia each securing five titles. Notable winners included Olympic silver medalist Beatriz Ferreira and Commonwealth Games medalist Caitlin Parker.
