We’re pleased to announce that Keane Anderson has signed a new deal with the Shots that will keep him with the club for the 24/25 season!
Anderson made his professional debut for the Shots last season, in a 4-1 FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round victory over Lewes.
The midfielder then joined Sholing on loan, where he would remain until the conclusion of the season, assisting the Southern League Premier South side in avoiding relegation.
On his new deal, Anderson stated, “I’m delighted to be offered another year at my hometown club!” “I’d like to thank Tommy (Widdrington), the management team and the club for believing in me.”
The loans have been extremely beneficial to my development, and I now feel prepared to move on.
I’ve listened to what Tommy (Widdrington) expects of me and what I need to accomplish, and I’ll be doing everything I can to make an effect.
Tommy Widdrington continued: “Keane is a player I feel has more to offer the club after impressing regularly in training and then making his debut at The EBB; it was felt collectively a loan last season was the best route for his progression at that time.”
“I’ve told him he’s on the starting line with the rest of the group so he will have an opportunity to stake his claim for a place in our matchday plans from the off at pre-season.”
“Another local lad who’d bleed red and blue for the badge I hope Keane gets what Keane wants!”
Congratulations, Keano!
