The Georgia Bulldogs once again proved why they’re a powerhouse in college football, turning heads at the 2025 NFL Draft with 13 players selected and four more signing as undrafted free agents—solidifying their status as an NFL talent factory.
Headliners of the Draft:
Mykel Williams (EDGE): Taken 11th overall by the San Francisco 49ers, Williams brings elite pass-rushing ability and explosive athleticism to the West Coast. NFL analysts see him as a day-one starter with Pro Bowl potential.
Jalon Walker (LB): Picked 15th overall by the Atlanta Falcons, Walker stays in-state, bringing ferocious tackling and sideline-to-sideline speed to a retooling Falcons defense. A homegrown hero, he’s expected to become a fan favorite instantly.
Malaki Starks (S): Drafted 27th overall by the Baltimore Ravens, Starks is a perfect fit for Baltimore’s defensive legacy. Known for his instinctual play and ball-hawking skills, Starks is expected to make an immediate impact in the secondary.
Trevor Etienne (RB): The explosive back went in the 4th round to the Carolina Panthers, bringing versatility and SEC-tested grit to a young offense. Etienne’s ability to catch passes and break tackles gives Carolina a much-needed offensive spark.
Dominic Lovett (WR): Selected in the 7th round by the Detroit Lions, Lovett is a late-round gem with game-breaking speed and sharp route running. He’ll compete for a role as a slot receiver and special teams contributor.
