United reportedly remain in talks to sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds have been credited with an interest in signing the Uruguay international for several weeks and he remains a target to strengthen the midfield options at Old Traffort,
According to Fabrizio Romano, United remain in contact with PSG over a deal as the wait goes on for the deal to be completed, with personal terms already agreed. It has been claimed that United have discussed the idea of Ugarte joining on a loan deal for the season with the obligation to buy in 2025.
Elsewhere, United are continuing to be linked with a move for France international Adrien Rabiot. The former Juventus midfielder is a free agent after his contract with the Italian club expired back in June.
According to Caught Offside, Rabiot’s representatives will hold a second round of talks with United next week about a transfer for the midfielder. It has been claimed that the Reds have already held negotiations over Rabiot’s future, and will now hold talks once again with and Arsenal also potential destinations.
The report claims that Adrien’s wage demands are worth up to €15million (£12.8million) per year which equates to approximately £246,000 per week. It has also been stated that Real Madrid have rejected the opportunity to sign Rabiot, with the Premier League deemed to be the most likely destination.
