Thompson, a standout at Franklin High School, announced his decision via social media, choosing the Volunteers over interest from a number of SEC and Power Five programs.
At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Thompson is the type of dynamic, multi-positional talent that modern college football programs covet.
