As the New Orleans Saints prepare for the 2025 NFL season, all eyes are on a roster that blends experienced veterans with promising young talent. While the Saints have several established stars—such as Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara, and Marshon Lattimore—one name has quietly emerged as the team’s top breakout candidate: wide receiver A.T. Perry.
A sixth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Wake Forest, Perry has steadily progressed since entering the league. After showing flashes of potential late in his rookie season, he enters his third year as a player on the verge of a significant leap, both in production and prominence within the Saints’ offensive game plan.
Standing at 6-foot-5 with a long wingspan and smooth stride, Perry is built like a prototypical outside receiver. His size and catch radius give him a natural advantage in contested catch situations, and his body control allows him to make acrobatic receptions along the sideline and in the red zone. But it’s his recent development in route running, timing, and chemistry with quarterback Derek Carr that has drawn attention throughout offseason workouts.
