Brandon Garrison has officially announced his return to the University of Kentucky for the 2025–26 men’s basketball season, providing a significant boost to the Wildcats’ frontcourt under head coach Mark Pope.
The 6’10” forward transferred from Oklahoma State and made notable strides during his sophomore year at Kentucky, averaging 5.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. A key development in his game was the addition of a perimeter shot—after not attempting a three-pointer as a freshman, Garrison went 12-for-40 from beyond the arc this past season.
His decision to return comes amid a competitive frontcourt landscape, with the addition of Croatian standout Andrija Jelavic and the anticipated return of Jayden Quaintance from injury. Garrison’s experience and growth position him as a valuable contributor in the upcoming season.
Garrison’s return is seen as a positive sign for Kentucky’s program stability, as the team continues to build a dynamic roster for the 2025–26 campaign.
